While spending the day with my nieces I had a little surprise for them! Instead of the Easter Bunny - my boyfriends mother brought over the Easter Owl..lol! This is a baby Great Horned Owl that needs to be taken care of until it is reunited with its mommy. My boyfriends mother has a rehabilitation center for Birds of Prey called Born to be Wild Nature Center.
Someone just dropped it off at a vets shop outside and left no info..?? ummm..HELLO So it was on channel 10 news - hoping that maybe someone would call who knew anything about it, because it REALLY needs to be back with its Mommy :(
So anyway...my nieces had a GREAT time visiting with the Owl - and they were also able to feed it (with some help of course) haha..
